Did you know that every day 210 Pennsylvanians are diagnosed with cancer? This includes thousands of people in our community each year who could use our support and may not even know that we are here!

Gilda's Club is dedicated to the social and emotional needs of anyone touched by cancer. We want to reach out to the community and let everyone know about this wonderful resource available to them. To share our mission we are offering Red Door Tours each month to show people just what goes on behind our welcoming red door. On tour you will meet members of our Gilda's Club family who share stories about our program, members, volunteers and opportunities to give back. The tours are designed to educate and inspire you. Red Door Tours are scheduled on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:30 P.M.

Gilda's Club is growing. We have provided much needed cancer support to over 1000 families in just three short years of operations. With 72,000 people diagnosed with cancer in Pennsylvania each year, you do the math…there is still so much work to do:

We need to make sure that the Red Door is open to families, especially children and teens, and that all these kids know about our program and how to access it.
We need to educate our schools, health professionals and community on the importance of emotional and social cancer support.
We need to find and train new volunteers dedicated to cancer, support and especially to kids.
And we need to be the first place people think of when cancer happens.
