My name is Alysia Sargent and I am a member of Gilda's Club Delaware Valley. In 2003, I had a bone marrow transplant for Leukemia. It has been a long, hard road to recovery and I could not have done it without the support of Gilda's Club. From the people and programs I found support, friendship, strength, joy and the motivation to live as a survivor and follow my passions.
One of my passions is designing jewelry. Another is learning how to get and stay healthy holistically with nutrition and natural products. My strongest passion is to pass on all that I have learned in the last 8 years of battling the effects of cancer.
